Shimano Ultegra / XT 11 speed Chain CN-HG700-11 (HG-X11) compatibility

Shimano Ultegra / XT series 11 speed chain CN-HG700-11 has been developed to work with all Shimano 11 speed cassettes, Road and Mountain-Bike included.

Basically, CN-HG700-11 and CN-HG600-11 are the same chains (as CN-HG900-11 too) 

The only difference between those 3 chains is the Sil-Tec surface treatment. 

The CN-HG700 is treated on the pin links and roller link plates so it makes it faster and smoother than the CN-HG600 which has Sil-Tec treatment only on its roller link plates.

The CN-HG900-11 is entirely treated with Sil-Tec Ultra Low Friction.

Shimano 105 series 11 speed Chain CN-HG600-11 (HG-X11) compatibility

Shimano 105 series 11 speed chain CN-HG600-11 has been developed to work with all Shimano 11 speed cassettes, Road and Mountain-Bike included.

Shimano ST-RS685 Ultegra Disc Brake Mechanical shifting Dual Control Levers Compatibility

The Shimano ST-RS685 Dual control levers have been released in 2014 for Shimano Ultegra.

It is designed to work with Shimano BR-RS785 hydraulic disc brake calipers.

These are Mechanical shifting type, not suitable for Di2 shifting.

Shimano BR-RS785 Ultegra Hydraulic disc Brake Caliper Specification and Compatibility

Shimano BR-RS785 Hydraulic Disc Brake Caliper Ultegra grade has been released in 2014 to replace the BR-R785.

The main difference is that the new caliper has no hose angle adjustment option.
